Opened in April 1998 The Pilgrims Rest is owned and managed by Nursing couple Pauline Mulroy and Noel Marley who have extensive experience in elderly care.

At Pilgrims Rest we pride ourselves on providing excellent care for residents who are convalescing or in long term care . Our holistic approach to the care of our residents is centred on the fulfilment of the needs of the individual whilst maintaining their dignity, privacy and independence in a comfortable and homely setting.

The Pilgrims Rest has accommodation for 34 residents our Nursing Home is situated in a peaceful rural setting on a elevated site 1 ½ miles from the scenic town of Westport Co Mayo
